It is compact, light and performs multiple functions thanks to its unique fold out wings. First impressions are that the Glowzilla is a sleek looking table lamp, but closer inspection reveals it is so much more. As a table lamp light spreads around 360°, utilising two settings of 50 & 100% that puts out 100 and 400 Lumens for 3 & 6 hrs respectively. The SMD LEDs are bright so they are covered with a matt finish opaque plastic to soften the light while not losing luminosity. One challenge with table lamps is they often shine into your eyes across a table. Glowzilla’s 4 folding wings allow you to fold them down to 45°, eliminating this problem. When the wings are fully folded down the Glowzilla transforms into an area light that can be hung using its metal hook to light up a larger area. If an area needs to be well lit then the last function turns on all LEDs shining 450 Lumens covering up to 20m for 2.5hrs.
